Beaconside House is a large Victorian Country House, ideal for those looking for a get away with friends and family with a touch of grandeur. There are four self-catering holiday cottages set adjacent to the main house which comfortably sleeps a total of 19.

Beaconside House is ideal for friends and families who want to holiday together, spend time relaxing and catching up or celebrate a special occasion.
This large Victorian residence retains charming features including original architecture, high cornice ceilings, large open fireplaces and original tiled floors. Beaconside House sleeps 19 guests across 8 bedrooms.
Self Catering Accommodation in North Devon
We have four stunning holiday cottages located on our estate that are perfect for family or friends. If all of our accommodation is hired together, we can host large groups of up to 50 across all five cottages.
The Lodge is all on ground floor level with its own private hot tub, Sleeping 6 guests. Goodison and Stackstead Cottage are converted from a stable block, Goodison cottage sleeps 6 guests and Stackstead Cottage sleeps 5 guests. Finally, Baytree Cottage is our most romantic retreat, perfect for couples looking for secluded and private accommodation.

Our facilities are sure to provide everyone with plenty of opportunity for relaxation, including both indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, outdoor hot tubs, and acres of private woodland with the option for private fishing.
Places to Explore in North Devon
Beaconside is only a 10-minute drive from the beautiful, golden, famous beaches of Instow and Westward Ho! The area also offers numerous local attractions including Dartington Crystal, The Milky Way theme park and The Big Sheep Attraction for a fun family day out.
If you’re looking for something a little more relaxing, the Royal North Devon Golf Club and boat trips to Lundy Island to see the seals and puffins from Bideford Quay are a great choice.
Easily accessible from Bideford, the Tarka Trail is one of our favourite ways to explore Devon. If you don’t want to bring your bikes, there is the option to hire local bikes from Tarka Tours who can also deliver them.
