The Boathouse in Instow is one of our favourites. Situated accross the road from the beach and the fantastic sea views The Boathouse offers a great selection of meat and local fish dishes to be washed down with a large selection of wines and beers. Tel no 01271 861292.

In May 2007 The Bridge over the estuary opens and this will cut the journey time to Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe from Beaconside by upto 30 mins.
