Dear Mark and Tracy,
I just had to write to you to say how much we enjoyed staying at your properties Baytree, Stackstead and Goodison from 8 - 15th August. It proved to be ideal for our family and everyone enjoyed all the facilities immensely. I haven't got over being able to swim 50 lengths every morning from 7 am with no one else around (except my splashing husband for 20 lengths!) and the fun they all had in the hot tub will be remembered for a very long time!
Thank you too for providing some basic food and we certainly appreciated the bottle of wine!
We shall recommend your web site (which is extremely comprehensive) and the accommodation to our friends and any other family we have.
We love this part of the country and may well be back again another time, all being well.

In 2008 part of the Beaconside Estate was awarded County Wildlife Status. This area incorporates our fishing bank and it really is a beautiful and peaceful spot. County Wildlife Status is awarded to areas of high wildlife value including plants, unusual woodland and animals.
From the fishing platform you can see the ancient semi natural broadleafed woodland and heronry which contributed towards helping this area receive its status. More information about CWS status can be found at www.devonwildlifetrust.org
